Why Bother?
Did you know that the majority of illnesses that reptiles go to the vet for are caused by poor husbandry?
Appropriate husbandry prevents disease, reduces stress, and promotes natural behaviour expression, which all ultimately equal less vet bills and the overall positive well-being of your scaley baby.
Reptile husbandry isn’t just about keeping your animal alive - it’s about allowing them to thrive.
Reptiles are incredible and complex little creatures that need to live within a very specific and finely tuned range of environmental conditions that closely reflect their wild habitats. Even small deviations in temperature, lighting, or even enclosure layout can cause chronic stress, behavioural issues, and lead to illness.
There is just SO much information out there, and unfortunately many sources provide incorrect information or conflicting advice - which can quickly become overwhelming.
This is where professional consultation makes all the difference. A place where you can get in depth and personalised advice tailored to you, your situation, and your specific pet as an individual. A place where you can trust the information you receive.
So whether you're troubleshooting a reoccurring problem, preparing for a new addition to your family, or you’re looking to grow your knowledge in the husbandry field to better care for your reptiles - you’re in the right place.
